Raw vegan crackers with tomatoes and basil – a tasty recipe
3,52 oz of raw almonds and hydrated least 8 hours
1,76 oz of raw brazil nuts and hydrated least 8 hours
1,76 oz of dried tomatoes
0,70 oz of green basil
2 tbsp or 1,05 oz of chia seed
3,38 fl oz of water
a pinch of cayenne pepper
a pinch of chili powder
This is one of many different and delicious varieties of crackers that exist. These are a great alternative to glutinous crackers and bread.
Mix the brazil nuts and almonds in the blender, then add the dried tomatoes and green basil and mix until all ingredients are grounded. In the obtained mixture add the chia seeds soaked in water for 2-3 minutes and mix it with a spoon. Add the spices (pepper, chili, salt) and extend on the baking paper and let it to dehydrate for 8 hours.
The dehydration of the crackers may be done in the oven also, by setting the ventilation and a temperature not exceeding 45 ° C or in a classic oven without temperature gauge, but it is a must to have a kitchen thermometer to control the temperature.
