Moussaka of macaroni with cauliflower – a delicious recipe
Ingredients for the moussaka:
7,05 oz of macaroni
3,52 oz of butter
1 tbsp of flour
1 glass of milk
2 tbsp of cheese
Ingredients for the macaroni pudding:
14,10 oz of macaroni
3,52 oz of cheese
2,64 oz of butter
1 tbsp of breadcrumbs
A cross between moussaka and macaroni cheese, this moussaka of macaroni with cauliflower makes for a hearty meal.
Prepare the macaroni as for the macaroni pudding. Break them and boil them in hot water with salt.Drain them, and mix the cheese, yolks, the whites beaten and half of the butter. With the rest of the butter, a form is greased, sprinkle breadcrumbs, and pour the composition and cover the form and boil it on steam, in the oven for 3/4- 1 hour. Separately, boil the cauliflower in hot water with salt, drain them, each bunch is cooked in butter. Put them in a form with butter and wallpapered with breadcrumbs, one layer of macaroni, another of cauliflower. Pour the flour mixed with the milk and sprinkle cheese and bits of butter on top.Cook it in the oven for 30 minutes.
