Kimchi – a delicious dish
1 small cabbage
3-4 spring onions
3-4 cloves of garlic
1 big carrot
1 white radish
Kimchi is a must-have side dish that appears in almost every Korean meal.This is a quick and easy recipe to make fermentation way less scary.
Peel the vegetables and cut into pieces.Put all the vegetables in a bowl and sprinkle with salt.Cover the bowl and leave overnight. Vegetables will become soft.Next day cut the green onion, crush the garlic and add to the vegetables.Put chilli pepper paste and paprika over and mix well.
Grate the ginger and add to the composition.You can add the fish sauce, if you like.
Put it in a jar, close the lid and leave at room temperature to ferment less than a day.
Store in the refrigerator.
